ADFORS Litomyšl Purchasing Specialist - Raw Materials

Informace o pozici:

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist responsible for Raw Materials category to join our purchasing team. In this role, you will develop and execute sourcing strategies for raw materials, cooperate with Adfors Category Purchase Managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals. This role requires in supplier management, cost optimization, and sustainability initiatives to drive value and innovation.

SPECIFIC TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sourcing and Purchasing/Procurement: Coperation with Adfors Category Purchase Managers. Develop and implement sourcing strategies for raw materials aligned with Saint-Gobain’s business goals, quality standards, and sustainability objectives.

• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring performance and compliance with Saint-Gobain’s quality, sustainability, and risk standards.
• Cost Optimization and Budget Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and control over material costs.
• Sustainability and Innovation: Drive initiatives for sustainable sourcing and eco-friendly materials, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to reduce environmental impact.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Adfors Category Purchase Managers, production, R&D, and quality teams to meet material needs and resolve any supply issues, maintaining smooth operations and alignment with business priorities.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze spending patterns and market trends to inform decision-making, prepare reports on purchasing achievements, and forecast future requirements.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Experience:

• 2 years of experience in purchasing/procurement or supply chain management, specifically within raw materials sourcing

Skills and Competencies:

• Negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices and a commitment to environmental stewardship
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a collaborative mindset
• Proficiency in purchasing/procurement software and data analysis tools
• Communicative English, Czech

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. A relevant Master’s degree or professional certification is a plus
